Action sports complex: part concrete, part modular

Full project management appointment for an urban riding facility built around two areas.
A concrete area, aimed at beginners and skateboarders: an open micro-bowl one metre deep and a range of basic features — curbs, rails, steps and a bank.
A modular area, set on a two-level quartz concrete slab, to maximise riding speed and eliminate the abrasive asphalt surface of the former skatepark. The modules use a new build process combining an aluminium riding surface, a steel structure and a sandwiched EPDM layer. The technique strikes a very good balance between impact and noise damping, speed retention and long-term durability. The modules are numerous, so that every discipline has room to thrive.
The street area opened in August 2026 and the freestyle area in September 2026. Official opening on Sunday 18 October 2026.
