Evolving Skatepark is three people, all of them riders, who have been designing action sports facilities for longer than most design consultancies have existed. This page is not about a philosophy: it is about careers.
Founder, managing director
Nearly twenty years at the French Roller Sports and Skateboarding Federation, where he developed "Optima Skatepark", advised several hundred local authorities and designed more than 40 skateparks. The regulatory and standards work he carried out for the federation ensures that current rules are built into how facilities are sized. Thirty years of riding and twenty years of coaching as a sports instructor and trainer. He is the person you will get on the phone: he deals directly with local authorities and clubs, from the first conversation through to handover.
Project manager
He handles the technical design and settles on the most suitable construction methods. During the design stages he runs the consultant tenders, produces the construction drawings, writes the technical documents and prepares the cost estimates. He also supports the contractors on site: design only proves itself on the ground.
Business development and marketing
Skateboarding from the age of 8, freestyle skating at 13. After fifteen years running business development for premium hotel groups, he came back to this world. He leads business development and marketing at Evolving Skatepark: making the practice known, reaching out to local authorities and clubs, and showing what the team can do.

No overseas studio, no outsourced design. The drawings you receive are made by the three people who will turn up to the meetings — and who will ride the facility once it is built.
Evolving Skatepark runs workshops with riders, clubs and technical departments. It is slower than picking from a catalogue, and it is what makes a facility used rather than merely endured.
The annotated sketch, reworked in the session.
The presentation to councillors and departments.
Site supervision, right through to handover.
Four disciplines, every level, every age. A facility that only serves the best riders has missed its target.
Not a slogan: France's first inclusive pumptrack, and MOBIL'iKi's recommendations built into how we size our facilities.
Materials, drainage, maintenance: we think in whole-life cost over twenty years, not handover price.
We ride. A line is judged by riding it, not by looking at a drawing.
"A curve is judged by riding it, not by looking at a drawing."
We sell neither concrete nor modules. Our advice is not tied to any catalogue.
The budget we announce is the budget we hold. That is our commitment in every technical submission.
We support the contractors on site, not only on paper.
Councillors, technical departments and riders are involved at every stage, not just at the opening.
Certificates attached to every public tender submission.
Every stage covered, from concept sketch through to handover support.
AFNOR SPEC 52-113, FFRS and FFC specifications, MOBIL'iKi recommendations.
World level at Roubaix, national at Rennes and Barr — federation-validated.
We answer a town launching its feasibility study just as readily as an authority still weighing up whether a facility makes sense at all. The first conversation costs nothing and often clears up a great deal.
